Linking Products to a Fitting Guide

The Fitting guide page block in Safa lets you link to a sizing chart or fitting guide from your product pages. This helps customers find the right size and reduces returns due to sizing issues.

What You Need

Before setting up the fitting guide block, you need a dedicated page for your fitting guide:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Pages.
  2. Click Add page and create a page with your sizing information. Include size charts, measurement instructions, or a size recommendation guide.
  3. Publish the page and note the page URL.

Add the Fitting Guide Block

Once your fitting guide page is ready, add the fitting guide block to the product template:

  1. Go to Online Store > Themes and click Customize.
  2. Navigate to a Product page template.
  3. Click the Product pages section in the sidebar to open general settings.
  4. If the Fitting guide block is not visible, click Add block and select Fitting guide.
  5. Click the Fitting guide block to open its settings.

Configure the Fitting Guide Block

Select Page

Choose the fitting guide page you created from the dropdown menu. This sets the destination link when a customer clicks the fitting guide button.

Icon

Choose an icon to display alongside the fitting guide link. Three icon options are available:

  • Shirt — A clothing icon, ideal for apparel sizing guides
  • Ruler — A measurement icon, suitable for general size guides
  • Info — An information icon, works for any type of guide or reference page

Button Text

Customize the text that appears on the fitting guide link. The default text is “Fitting Guide” but you can change it to something more specific like “Size Chart,” “Find My Size,” or “Measurement Guide.”

Positioning the Fitting Guide Block

Drag and drop the Fitting guide block in the page blocks list to reposition it. Common placements include:

  • Below the product description — Customers read about the product, then check sizing
  • Near the add-to-cart button — Encourages size verification before purchase
  • At the bottom of the page — Acts as a reference point without cluttering the primary purchasing area
